A Man's Best Friend...On Halloween

I recently ordered an animal costume from Costume Super Center and I was overwhelmingly happy with my order. This costume had all that I needed to transform into, not just any dog, but the lovable pooch from the popular television show, Wilfried. I want to stress that this is not an official Wilfried costume, just a regular dog costume. Be sure to check out the product here along with some other awesome costumes for this Halloween season. I was surprised how detailed this costume was. It came with furry booties to put over my shoes, a head piece with big floppy, fuzzy ears and a big red collar around the neck, and of course the full body suit with a nice long tail to wag in the back. The costume did have a few minimal drawbacks but important to mention nonetheless. It is important to be aware of the weather and the setting you find yourself in while wearing this costume, as it extremely warm and it sheds quite a bit which may put a damper on indoor parties. Another issue I encountered when I first tried the costume on is the abrasive material on the inside, which I found to be very itchy. However, this can be a simple fix with a long-sleeve shirt. A Poem

Here's a poem about a subject that's been on my mind lately. As I see friends move in with girlfriends, get married, and have kids it makes me think if I am ever going to meet the right girl. As the months grow colder I grow lonelier.

Struggling For Cuddling

I lay here in my bed
just me.

I stare at the light from the moon
my thoughts racing
as I try to dream.

It is fall,
the air is crisp
and lonely.

An accurate reflection
of myself.

I do dream.

I dream of another warm body against mine.
An accidental kicking of my leg,
brushing up against myself.

I pull another pillow in closer to me,
put my arms around it
close my eyes
try to dream

to dream its the girl of my dreams.

A Long Time...For Slacking

Ok, so I know that no one really reads this but I guess it makes it easier (motivation-wise) to write, even if it is to a non-existing audience. Anyway, I apologize for the time spent away from this blog...over 6 months is a long time to put off doing anything, much less a simple thing as writing blog entries. I want to add more to my blog, but keep my entries pertaining to a few simple subjects: Photos, Music Finds, Beer Reviews, Poems, and Stories. The Most Offensive Card Game...

I need to let all of you know about a particularly hilarious card game I played in the recent weeks. My friend and his brother came over last weekend and had these cards with them, Cards Against Humanity. If you have ever played Apples to Apples, its kind of like that. Except that both the answers given and the question asked is vulgar or offensive in some way. This game is definitely not for people who easily get offended, but it will allow for a no-holds-bar laugh fest.

The best surprise of this little card game is the official website, that I recommend, ordering from. The game is available for free! Totally free! The website gives you explicit directions how to print the cards out. With that being said, you have nothing to lose so start dealing those cards and laughing up a storm!
